How to Prepare for Your Summer Holiday
How to Prepare for Your Summer Holiday If youâve got a summer holiday coming up, you probably want to look your absolute best. This will take a little preparation, but itâll be worth it when you look hot by the pool or on the beach! Use this guide to prepare for your summer holiday the right way: Eat Right and Exercise Start as soon as in advance as you can when it comes to eating right and exercising. The sooner you start, the better! You donât want to realise you have 1 week to go until holiday and starve yourself. Thatâs definitely not the way to go. Start at least 1 month in advance to see improvements. You should eat right 80% of the time, only allowing yourself 1 or 2 cheat meal per week. If you can eat natural foods and make sure you fill up on protein, youâll do great! You still need carbs of course, but just make sure you keep your portion sizes under control. You canât cut them out, as it just isnât health. Exercise at least 3 times a week, doing something that you enjoy. You need to enjoy it or you wonât stick to it. If you can create new, healthy habits then thatâs great! This should be a lifestyle forever, not just for your holiday. picture Look After Your Skin Your skin can get burned on holiday, so itâs essential you look after it. Some people like to have a few sunbed sessions before they go away to accustom their skin to the sun, but thereâs no proof that this actually works. The best thing you can do is exfoliate a few times a week, and moisturise so your skin is lovely and supple. When it comes to your face, make sure you cleanse, tone, and moisturise regularly. You should use a gentle exfoliant on your face once or twice per week, and a face mask once per week. Youâll glow when youâre on the beach! Plan Hair Removal Methods Hair removal is important if you want to look and feel like a goddess while youâre away. There are lots of different methods you can use, from various home depilation methods to salon waxing treatments. It depends on your budget and how long you want the effects to last. Make sure you decide in advance and book your appointment, so you can get advice from the therapist on how to ensure your hair is in great condition for the treatment. Make sure you stick to their advice. If you have a sunbed session after a hair treatment, you could seriously burn yourself. Plan Other Beauty Treatments Plan your other beauty treatments. Work out a budget and consider whatâs most important to you. You might want a nice set of HD brows, or some long, fluttery lashes. One of the best things you can do is ensure you look pretty even with no makeup on. Then you donât have to worry at all when youâre on the beach or by the pool. How will you prepare?
